I just realized that I have about 34 days to get rough drafts done for 4 Big Bangs, and ready-to-post versions for 3 challenges. Of those four Big Bangs, I have exactly *one* mostly written, and it's due in, oh, three days.

So I'm going to attempt a writing schedule here, under the cut. ( Numbers, unexciting because Jared Padalecki isn't reciting them )

If you need me, I'll be over here in this corner, quietly (or not-so-quietly) freaking out over my summergen.

The SPN re-watch will start once I've finished summergen. Thanks for your understanding. :P

I FINISHED! I finished writing The Big Bang That Would Not Die™!

It clocks in at 96,857 words. Yup. That's about 17k more than I thought it would be.

I'm a little surprised at how fast the claims started (how do people even have time to read all the summaries that fast?), but it's exciting.

And, well, if no one ends up claiming mine, then at least I won't be under all that pressure to fix the unholy mess that is my rough draft. *eyes silver lining determinedly*

Okay, sent in my draft. It's currently at a little over 60k, and is complete, if in very bare-bones format. Doubtless when I go back in and fix it, the wordcount will go up. You know, when I add in things like adjectives and feelings. :P ( Read more... )
